First Place Win for Tomasi Motorsports Driver Brian Tomasi at SCCA Bert Olson National at Gingerman RacewayGINGERMAN, MI. (July, 10, 2010) – Tomasi Motorsports driver Brian Tomasi scored his second win of the 2010 season during the SCCA Bert Olson National at Gingerman Raceway, completely dominating the weekend with pole position, fast race lap and the win.When the green flag fell it was a good race into turn one. Brian kept his position and immediately became to pull a large gap to the second place cars. By mid point in the race Brian had pulled a gap of over twenty seconds to the second place car. The race was slowed due to a full course yellow, which allowed all the cars to close up back behind Brian. When the track went green Brian again pulled out a comanding lead and on this day would not be denied a victory. “This was a great weekend, every session we made adjustments to the car that kept making it faster with more grip”, Brian said after Sundays ‘s win. “I hope to ride the momentum of this win all the way to the National Championships in September.” Tomasimotorsports now heads to Road America August 7-8th for a test session and then the car will undergo a mini rebuild prior to the National Runoffs at Road America on September 20th.
